They say electric cars are the future and it’s difficult to argue otherwise, but it’s early in their evolution and many manufacturers are only just producing their first generation models.
Charging points for all-electric cars are becoming more numerous, and more importantly the time to recharge is coming down which are both positives. However the cost of all electric motoring is still high, and second hand prices are relatively low which is reflected in the used car market.
For practical reasons and affordability petrol cars are still very much in demand, and as vehicle traders we are looking to buy cars that people want.
Actually we quite like hybrid cars as they aren’t subject to same range restrictions and lack of suitable charging points as their all-electric counterparts. Owner like their hybrids as well and tend to keep hold of them for a relatively long time.
